Reviving this website and blog

I'm finally putting the time in to make it easier to publish to this website in a semi-automated form, in a format I like, that's easy and not too complicated (e.g. not wordpress). Nothing against Wordpress but it's way more than I need at least right now. Given that this website was a tiny quantity of hand-rolled HTML before, this is a pretty big step up and should make for much easier writing and editing.

I already have a good number of ideas for topics to write about, things that get me thinking or interest me and might interest you, too. I'll try to write them down and capture them here.

I also started a small effort to document the progress of this site as a project in the Projects page. If it works out then hopefully that makes it easier for more people to do the same, and grow their own sites. :)
